The Museum of Cultural History, University of Oslo, combines the original Museum of Antiquities, the Coin Cabinet and the Ethnographical Museum.
In one location, the museum houses, amongst others, the permanent exhibition "From the Ice Age until Christianity" which includes quite some artefacts from the Viking era. In addition, the "Treasure Chest" exhibition shows Norwegian gold and silver treasure finds from every time period.
A second location is dedicated to the Viking Ship Museum which exhibits grave finds from Tune, Gokstad, Oseberg and Borre. http://www.khm.uio.no/
The museum features several reconstructed buildings (a longhouse, a smithy, a cowshed, etc.) as well as two reconstructed ships of the viking age. http://www.lofotr.no/
The Midgard Historical Centre run by the Vestfold Community covers the finds from Oseberg, Gokstad and Kaupang. http://www.midgardsenteret.no/ (Website in Norwegian only)
