Regia Anglorum seeks to accurately re-create the lives of the people who dwelt in Britain around a thousand years ago; from the time of Alfred the Great to that of Richard the Lionheart. They are a group of enthusiasts who work hard to recreate images of the past that Anglo-Saxons, Vikings, Normans and the other peoples of that far off time would find in no way unusual. http://www.regia.org/
Formed in 1998 and based in West London as a local group within The Vikings, The Temesvikings re-enact military and domestic life of the 10th and early 11th centuries. Their members represent some of the Anglo-Danish and Anglo-Saxon natives and settlers who might have been found in the London area some 1000 years ago.
Most of the time the group portrays a band of Anglo-Danish warriors (Lithsmen) in the service of King Æthelræd of England, at the time of the great upheavals that swept England between the years 989-1016. http://www.temes.vikings.org.uk/

Weorod are a small, independent group of Historical Re-enactors who specialise in providing Living History and Re-enactment displays for local and national events.
Based in Portsmouth, Hampshire they recreate one of the most decisive eras in the history of Britain, the years from 428 to 1066, the Early Medieval or Dark Age period. Portraying the lives of the early Angle, Saxon and Jutish settlers of the Migration Period, through the Danish and Norwegian incursions of the Viking Age to the coming of the Normans and the end of Anglo-Saxon England they provide a representation of what early medieval life may have looked like. http://www.weorod.org/
